This is a pair of 1936 End Papers Illustrated by Helene Carter from The Book of Living Reptiles: Where the Crocodilians, Lizards, Snakes, Turtles and Tortoises Are Found, written by Raymond L. Ditmars and published by J.B. Lippincott Co.  Helene Carter was an illustrator of scientific and other books, such as Arthur Ransome's Swallowdale and Peter Duck and her own Smoky and Pinocchio.  She appears to have collaborated several times with Raymound L. Ditmars on books about prehistoric animals and zoography.  These end paper, each measuring 10" high by 7.875" wide, show a continuous scene of two large turtles looking toward one another surrounded by tropical leaves and smaller lizards.  There is a triangular decorative border along the top and bottom edges.  Printed on medium weight off-white paper, the illustrations have been printed in an unusual palette of yellow, olive green, pale and dark green, deep turquoise, pink and orange.  These 1936 End Papers Illustrated by Helene Carter from The Book of Living Reptiles are in Very Good condition with no damage or wear.
