This is a 1930s Double Sided Heart Shaped Valentine, measuring 3.25" high by 3.25" wide.  The front shows the portrait of a smiling young boy with brown hair, blue eyes with long lashes, rosebud mouth, and large white collar with deep blue plaid bow.  He is surrounded by several decorative rows of half moons and leaves, dots, and flowers in gold, purple, pink, yellow and green.  "Valentine Greetings" appears on either side of him.  The back has a yellow-bellied bluebird sitting on a thin branch with long green leaves.  The heart-shaped scene is bordered with a gold heart.  Opening vertically, the interior has a black and white drawing of the same boy (in more impish form) with a raised pointing finger in a frame of flowers and paper curls.  The caption reads: "Gee, -- you're nice,-- I wish you'd be My Valentine."  "Floyd From Byron" has been written in cursive with pencil on the top sheet.  It is marked "Made in U.S.A." on back.  Maker is unknown.  This 1930s Double Sided Heart Shaped Valentine is in Very Good Condition with slight yellowing from age.
