This is the 1869 Front Cover from Womankind in Western Europe (From The Earliest Times To The Seventeenth Century), written by Thomas Wright and published in London by Groombridge and Sons. The cover measures 8.5" high by 6.5" wide. The front is covered in deep reddish brown textured leather which has been embossed in gold with a central design of spirals, leaves and central diamond; four corner designs of spirals and leaves; "Womankind in Western Europe" in a variation of Gothic lettering; and three border lines. There is a simple gray green back. This 1869 Front Cover from Womankind in Western Europe is in good condition with some edge wear. Ideal for art projects.
