This 19th century tintype (3.5" by 2.25") shows a seated young girl in a plaid dress with a white bib and cuffs. She has long corkscrew curls with a center part. Her cheeks have been hand tinted pink. She seems to be looking inward, rather than at the camera, as she rests one arm on a fringed arm rest. Both the emulsion and the tin are in very good condition.
