This is Eduard Morike's Mozart auf der Reise nach Prag, a short novel of Mozart's journey to Prague in 1787. This edition with text in German was published in the 1930's by Anton Schroll of Vienna. It has 14 color lithographs by the Austrian book artist and illustrator Fritzi Low. (Nine of the lithographs are shown here.) This 123 page book measures 4.375" high by 3.375" wide by 0.5" thick with green board covers and paper labels on front and side. The end papers have a wallpaper look with vertical stripes and potted flowers. This copy of Mozart auf der Reise nach Prag is in Good condition. The body of the book has a separation from the front end paper (although still intact) and looks as though it was once taped. There is an inscription from 1961 in German. One page has a small corner crease. All 14 lithographs are like new.
