This Kammer and Reinhardt Majestic Bisque Doll Head has large hand blown blue gray glass sleep eyes; hand painted features including fine black lower eyelashes, wispy brown eyebrows, red bowed lips, red dotted inner eyes and nostrils, and pink tinted cheeks; an open mouth with four upper teeth; a slightly dimpled chin; a 1.25" tapered neck (making her a socket head doll); and pierced ears. The head measures 5.5" high and 11.5" in circumference. There are two holes on either side of the top of the head and two holes at the base of the back of the head for attachment of a wig. The back of the head is incised with Majestic and 10 Regd. This Kammer and Reinhardt Majestic Bisque Doll Head was made in Germany in the early twentieth century. There are no chips or cracks on the head but the bottom of the front of the neck has been broken and repaired. (See photographs.)
